Signal network
The animated network on the homepage: eight ideas, connected, with signals travelling between them. A single canvas, no libraries, and it stops when you are not looking.
Nodes are placed on a deterministic layout so the drawing is stable between visits. Signals pick an edge, travel it with an eased curve, and occasionally trigger the next node. Hovering a node lights its neighbours.
It pauses when scrolled out of view or when the tab is hidden, and respects prefers-reduced-motion by drawing a single static frame.
