Dagasta (دقستة): a Sudanese social trivia game

A multiplayer trivia game where you win by inventing convincing fake answers — Sudanese humour, history, music and football, and the art of fooling your friends.

Dagasta is built on one idea: the most convincing answer is not necessarily the correct one.

Rooted in Sudanese culture — humour, history, music, football and generational memories — it asks players to write believable fake answers while trying to spot the truth. Party games like Psych! were the inspiration; the Sudanese personality is its own: culturally relevant decks, local expressions and shared experiences.

The content approach matters most. Many of the best stories are held by older generations, so contributing a question is designed to work for people with very little technical experience — turning informal cultural knowledge into something a whole family can play.
